Are you ready to homeschool with confidence?

It is possible!

You CAN confidently make decisions that are right for your homeschool and your children.

You CAN say goodbye to the guilt of not using a curriculum others rave about that doesn’t work well for your children.

Does this sound like you?

  • You aren’t sure what curriculum to purchase.
  • You wonder which co-op you should join.
  • The thought of planning your homeschool year overwhelms you.
  • You worry that your children won’t thrive in your homeschool.
  • You doubt your abilities to teach your children.

You’re not alone!

Many homeschool parents feel the same way. I did too!

But you don’t have to feel overwhelmed, afraid, or guilty.

You can homeschool with confidence.

I felt the same way. I had to make so many decisions about our homeschool, and it was overwhelming.

Homeschooling your children is rewarding, but it is all challenging. You are embarking on a new endeavor. (Yes, even if you were a school teacher, teaching your children at home is different than teaching a classroom full of kids.) It will take some time to become comfortable in your new role.

Thankfully, when you keep four key principles in mind, you will have a decision-making framework to help you homeschool confidently.

  • Key #1 – Know your purpose
  • Key #2 – Know your values
  • Key #3 – Know your children
  • Key #4 – Know yourself

Once I understood these principles and used them to make decisions regarding our homeschool, everything changed. I didn’t waffle when making decisions. I could evaluate a curriculum faster and confidently decide if it would be a good fit for us. I could see how a new extracurricular activity would impact our schedule and decide if that would support our values. I knew how much would be too much and planned less so we didn’t start the year stressed.

My friends noticed the difference. They started asking me how I could make decisions so quickly and confidently.

The secret was that I knew what would work best for our family and for each individual child. I had a decision-making framework to use in evaluating curriculum choices, extracurricular activities, and scheduling options.

Understanding why you do what you do, what’s important to you, and what makes you and your children unique helps you confidently make decisions about your homeschool.

Now you can learn how to create your own decision-making framework, and homeschool with confidence!

Each week, we’ll focus on a different topic designed to help you better understand your goals, yourself, and your children.

I’ll provide a brief teaching about the week’s topic, then we’ll explore it further by completing an exercise or considering questions to help you determine how you want to implement what you learned in your homeschool.

There will not be a group session in week 3 to allow you time to work on your homeschool mission statement. Private 1:1 coaching sessions will happen during week 3.

  • Week 1 – Key #1 – Know your purpose
  • Week 2 – Key #2 – Know your values
  • Week 3 – 1:1 sessions to continue processing what you learned in weeks 1 & 2
  • Week 4 – Key #3 – Know your children
  • Week 5 – Key #4 – Know yourself

Frequently Asked Questions

What is group coaching?

Group coaching is a time to gather with other homeschool parents with a similar goal. You will have an opportunity to learn more about yourself and your children and explore ways to improve your skills as a home educator and parent. There will be time for teaching, reflection, and discussion.

What will a group coaching session look like?

We’ll start by opening in prayer and taking a deep breath so we can focus our thoughts and emotions on the coaching session.

We’ll then get to know each other a little better with an ice breaker activity. Don’t worry, I’m an introvert so I’ll keep it as painless as possible.

Next, we’ll take a few moments to share a win from the previous week during our Triumphant Moment portion of the call.

Then, I’ll provide a brief teaching about the topic for the week. As we continue to explore the topic, we may complete an exercise or consider questions to help you determine how you want to implement what you learned in your homeschool.

We’ll close our session by identifying an action step for the coming week. Actions steps could be time spent in reflection, homework exercises to explore an issue further, or specific action steps related to the topic.

How is group coaching different from private 1:1 coaching?

During private coaching sessions, you have my full attention. We can address whatever issue or concern you would like to discuss during that session.

During group coaching sessions, we will focus on a predetermined topic. We will discuss questions and concerns related to the week’s topic together as a group.

Do I have to share/talk during the group coaching sessions?

Group coaching should be a place where you feel safe to share and openly discuss the questions with everyone. With that said, I know how intimidating it can be to share about your life and your concerns with a group of strangers. We will spend some time at the beginning of each session getting to know each other so you feel more comfortable.

You are never required to share during the group coaching sessions, however, the more willing you are to talk, the better the experience will be for all participants.

When will the group coaching sessions happen?

Group sessions will be on July 26, August 2, August 16, and August 23 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. CT.

Will there be a recording of the group sessions?

Group sessions will not be recorded. Live attendance and participation is needed to benefit the most from group coaching sessions. If you will not be able to attend the sessions live, please consider enrolling in private coaching and allow someone else who can attend the group sessions to enroll in the group program.

When and how do I schedule my private coaching session?

After completing your payment for the group coaching program, you will be able to schedule your private 1:1 coaching session through the coaching portal.

All private coaching sessions included with this group coaching program must be scheduled between August 6-12. Multiple time slots are available. Any unscheduled and unused sessions will be forfeited.

What if I want to continue coaching or want additional private coaching sessions?

After the group coaching program is complete, you will have an opportunity to enroll in additional private coaching sessions with Crystal.

Typically, I work with clients over a minimum of three months, meeting twice a month. If coaching proves a good fit for you, we can continue to work together, meeting twice a month for as long as the coaching relationship is beneficial.

All appointments must be booked within three months of the purchase date. Any remaining appointments that have not been scheduled by three months from purchase will expire.

How will we meet for coaching calls?

Group and private coaching calls are held via Zoom. You’ll receive instructions on how to connect once your payment is completed.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

See the schedule above for group session times. Due to the nature of group coaching sessions, make-up sessions are not available.

Private coaching sessions can be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to our scheduled meeting. Sessions canceled within 24 hours of our call are subject to forfeiting your session fee. Private sessions purchased through this group coaching program must be scheduled according to the time frame listed above.

Because of the limited space available in the group coaching program, I do not offer refunds. Your purchase indicates your willingness and ability to attend the group coaching sessions. If you will not be able to attend the sessions live, please consider enrolling in private coaching and allow someone else who can attend the group sessions to enroll in the group program.

However, if the program does not fill with the minimum number of participants needed, the program will not take place. You will be offered a full refund or the option to enroll in private coaching at a reduced rate.

What are your qualifications?
