If you landed on this post, you are probably searching for ideas of how to organize your homeschool room. I hope this post does not frustrate you, but inspires you to think outside the box. Here’s a look at our homeschool room, loosely defined.
I have bookshelves to hold all of our books, supplies, and manipulatives, but the hub of our homeschool day revolves around this little black tote. It’s the ultimate portable homeschool room!
The beauty of this repurposed scrapbook tote is that it can go anywhere because it has a telescoping handle and wheels. I load it up at the beginning of each week with almost everything we need to complete our lessons for the week. Stashed in various pockets are pens, pencils, crayons, glue, scissors, sunscreen, and insect repellant. All I need to add are additional manipulatives such as reading and math games.
At the beginning of the school day, we grab our water bottles and this tote and head out. The whole world is our homeschool room!
